This is a unique fossil and I only have a limited supply.
 
I often explain to people that, "I'm not really in business. I'm just having fun with my dad's rocks." In this case, the thing that I want most is to nail down what this rock actually is. I've been trying for years to reach a definitive conclusion.
 
This is a unique rock! It's beutiful, high quality agate. The polished cabs that Ken made should convice you of the high quality.
 
"Classic" Yellowcat Wood has been sold at auction for prices in five figures. (Seriously!)  Thanks to a great suggestion by a customer, I think I "might" know what it is now. The most unique thing about Yellowcat Bark is the surface. I'm convinced that the surface would be the clue that an experienced paleontologist could use to identify it.
 
In the blog linked below, I wrote, " I'd love to list a few for sale but until I find out what a fair price is for them, I'm not going to do that." I've changed my mind about that now. I'm never going to find out what it is if I don't get some in the hands of experienced rockhounds or paleontologists. (I tried the geologist at our local college. He didn't have any idea about it.)
 
Since I'm just not making much progress in my real goal of finding out exactly what this rock is, I'm listing some of my smaller pieces at much lower prices -- mainly to get more eyes helping me. I'm pricing this rock at less than the cost of shipping. Of course, you can add this to orders for other rocks and one shipping charge will cover all of them.
